Modern Dance 2 is the Second Modern Dance CD by Peter Kubik. These pieces are original compositions Peter's wonderful piano style accompanied by varied orchestrations. 13 long selections, several 5,6 and 7 minutes long, can be used for long floorwork combinations and/or across the floor.
Peter Kubik was born in Brussels and graduated from the "Conservatoire Royal of Brussels" as a concert pianist. Since then he has been pianist/composer/performer of the Ballet of the XXth Century from 1976-1987. Touring in more than 40 countries including 6 times in the USA, he has worked with a very long list of artists and companies including: Mark Morris, Ballet de Monte Carlo, Ballet de Opera De Paris, Jorge Donn, Plissetskaya, Azari Plissetski, Vassiliev, Noureev, J.Jamison, Claude Bessy, Bojones, Silvie Guilhem, Milton Myers, and the Grand Theatre de Geneve to name a few.
